I cancelled my 12month metal subscription yesterday. I haven’t received a confirmation e-mail. Where in the app can I see that the metal subscription is cancelled and will not be renewed in November? I plan to renew manually if conditions and offers get better again. Thanks.
Your plan will end on your renewal date, which youll likely receive an email at that point in time.
good question - is the annual plan auto-renewal? I can’t see an option to disable auto-renewal (if it is in fact auto-renewal).
I always disable these options like playstation plus etc. . Default always seems to be auto-renewal.
Did you purchase the full 12 month in advance? If so, it will run until renewal.
If you head to profile, Upgrade and be sure to have chosen your new preferred plan IE Standard etc, it should show you it’s updated, or at least when it will update.
I paid upfront for the entire year just last month after several months of paying monthly 12.99 first to see if it suited my needs.
I’m staying with the plan. Only options I see are to cancel the current plan.
Not wishing to do that, but just to ensure I have the option to decide when the 12 months is up.
It’ll likely auto renew but you’re probably better just changing it down to Standard or just set a reminder near its end date to make a decision.
I need a confirmation that I have cancelled my metal subscription. The app only shows when the subscription has started. How can I dispute it if charges me the yearly metal subscription again? I still have the option to downgrade the plan to e.g. Standard. What happens if I do it again? I don’t want to lose the rest (6 months) of my paid subscription.
Can I downgrade my plan after the 14-day period?
- If you’re on the annual plan, we will cancel your automatic renewal for another year provided that you downgrade it at least one month prior to the end of your 12-month contract. You’ll be able to use your plan until the end of your one year subscription period.

If you still have an option to downgrade to Standard it’s possible that the plan might have not cancelled properly. In such case, I’d advise you to contact via in-app chat to verify the actual state.
