BALANCE error with offline card payments

I noticed recently the next issue:

  • When a card payment is done and accepted (having enough balance in the account) the charged amount is reflected imediatly in the app balance, which is correct.
  • By some reason the payment was offline (but not reverted) and will be delayed or not completed.
  • Once it gets completed the amount is then charged… again from the balance.

The problem here is that the entry on the day of the payment will be moved to the day where the payment will be completed making then a new charge without having corrected the amount on the day which the payment was done offline.

I have observed this several times and seems difficult to explain to anyone in the support.
