Apple Pay support

@capital - I’m slightly confused. Do you mean that Wirecard is based in Germany? In and out have opposite meanings in my book.

Does Wirecard use a different IIN/BIN for residents of each of its supported countries? Bear in mind that Apple has no sight of the card holder’s country of residence, only of the country that the card issuer is based in.

In that case, why is it that a UK resident can have Apple Pay on a US-issued Amex card or a resident of Germany can have Apple Pay on a Jersey-issued Visa card? Why why didn’t this same issue hold up other card issuers who have customers resident outside the country from which the cards are issued?

You are indeed correct and thanks for the update. In mid-August, as evidenced in another thread, the IIN/BIN was showing as Romania. The change to the UK is disappointing news with regard to preventing dynamic currency conversion.
