Good ideea… and not only Alexa…
Nothing I would use, for sure.
I do not think that the data traffic would be secure in principle.
Just today I have learned that Amazon support personal is listening in into conversations people are having with Alexa and they transscribe them to improve Alexa‘s responsivness.

Besides the urges of Amazon personell to afflict someone’s privacy, my biggest concern would be to share account transaction history with Amazon or Google.

Big companies know way too much about us anyway…
It’s not just big. It’s more about the uncomfortable combination. I don’t want the biggest online store in the western hemisphere to know all about my financial transactions. Finances and daily spending for everything Amazon also sells is just a tad too entwined for me.
